CoFo Drifter

CoFo Drifter is a monospaced typeface that escapes digital coldness. It’s a charismatic personality, not alien to self-discipline and a love for meticulous technical work. To solve the classic problem of all monospaced typefaces—the large white spaces around letters with a single vertical stroke (such as i, l, т, г), we designed these verticals to be slanted. The active diagonals in the upright typeface behave provocatively and catch the eye. However, Drifter’s boldness does not turn into rudeness; on the contrary, the open shapes of the characters and the vertical cuts of the strokes speak of a sociable and friendly nature. Presenting expressiveness under the guise of technicality, CoFo Drifter is ready both for the leading role in branding and for the meticulous typographic work with other typefaces.
